Shift Manager – Surveillance, responsible for aiding the Director of Surveillance in the administration and effective operation of the Bally’s Tiverton Casino Hotel Surveillance department. Duties include monitoring casino and associated areas via video cameras, computer screens, monitors, digital recorders, access control systems, computer dispatch, video printers, switches, selectors, and direct observation to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies and procedures, and directing shift activities.

• Organize routine, random, and special surveillance as requested.
• Participate in routine floor observations to detect violations.
• Perform special surveillance (CCTV intensive, target game, team member, or patron) and produce incident reports for management’s review.
• Maintain current information on known cheats, counter‑scams, and methods via documentation and inter‑departmental contacts.
• Familiarise with Rhode Island Lottery Video Lottery Terminal Procedures and Bally’s Tiverton policy.
• Testify on procedures and attend court hearings or other legal matters as required.
• Coordinate recordings and documentation of the casino as required by surveillance management.
• Operate all surveillance CCTV, videotape, camera switching, re‑programming equipment, and related computer systems.
• Assist the Director of Surveillance in establishing policies and procedures for compliance with the Rhode Island Lottery, state and local law enforcement.
• Administer departmental policies, procedures, objectives, and standards.
• Schedule, evaluate, counsel, discipline, and train staff while promoting teamwork.
• Maintain strict confidentiality within established guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as required.

• Minimum two years of surveillance operator experience.
• Minimum two years of knowledge of monitor‑room equipment.
• Broad knowledge of casino procedures and gaming regulations.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Rhode Island Department of Business Regulation – Gaming Operations License.

• Frequent sitting, speaking, seeing, hearing, and listening.
• Occasional twisting, kneeling, handling, wrist motion, bending, and working in tight spaces.
