Armed Security Officer

Responsibilities

• First responder to incidents including accidents, emergencies, medical aid requests, and assistance from other departments.
• Guard and escort cash to specific locations throughout the facility and safeguard nightly cash drops and tickets from VLT machines.
• Strategically posted in visible locations to deter incidents and remain accessible to guests.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of all Twin River Casino facilities.
• Assist guests by providing information and services or directing them to the appropriate source for assistance.
• Check identification of individuals entering Twin River in compliance with Rhode Island state law.
• Prepare security reports, communicate with guests, outside agencies, and assist in employee investigations.
• Provide security for special events, fights, parties, employee events, and tournaments.
• Act as escort for guests, employees, outside agencies, transportation of injured employees, and disabled guests.
• Roam self‑parking lots, valet, and exterior of casino.
• Respond quickly in emergencies, including injured guests and employees, fires, fights, thefts, and arrests.
• Observe and report hazardous, dangerous, or unsafe conditions that may cause injury.
• Assist fire, police, or other law enforcement agencies in their official capacity when responding to or investigating incidents.
• Patrol and monitor entrances, gaming floor, and bar areas for the control of alcohol consumption.
• Monitor physical access control for the facility, verifying authorization and issuing visitor and employee access badges in accordance with the Department of Business Regulations and Rhode Island Lottery.
• When appropriate, detain and retrain persons who have or are about to commit a crime or pose a danger.
• When appropriate, eject persons who are in violation of company policies and procedures.

• Constantly hot, cold, noisy, wet, dry, dirty, smoky, and dusty environments.
• Rotating shifts.
• Occasionally dirty work conditions.
• Moderate to loud noise levels at times.

Target Hourly Range: $20.15
