Job Description

Stephens County Advancement Academy is seeking a dedicated and dynamic High School Teacher to join our instructional team. The ideal candidate is student‑centered, skilled in fostering positive learning environments, and committed to supporting academic success for all learners.

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards‑based instruction.
• Develop lesson plans that differentiate for diverse learners and incorporate best practices.
• Use data to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Establish and maintain a positive, structured, and respectful classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to enhance student learning.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance and behavior.
• Participate in professional learning, faculty meetings, and school‑wide initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records for grades, attendance, and required documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree required;
  Master’s preferred.
• Valid teaching certificate in appropriate content area.
• Demonstrated understanding of effective instructional strategies.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth.

• Experience teaching at the high school level.
• Familiarity with technology‑integrated instruction and digital learning tools.
• Experience supporting diverse learners.
