Special Education Teacher

In this position, you will work closely with students, parents, and fellow educators to deliver tailored instruction and support. Your expertise will shape inclusive learning environments through CT (Consultant Teacher) and Resource classrooms, ensuring each students Individualized Education Plan (IEP) is thoughtfully developed and implemented.

• Bachelors degree in Special Education or related discipline (Masters preferred).
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
• Strong understanding of IDEA, Section 504, and ADA requirements.
• Demonstrated experience crafting and administering IEPs.
• Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills.
• Prior experience working with elementary-aged children is strongly preferred.

• Full-time hours, Monday through Friday schedule.
• Serve in both Consultant Teacher and Resource classroom settings.
• Create inclusive lesson plans and track student progress.
• Communicate regularly with families, administration, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Offer instructional and behavioral support tailored to student needs.
• Foster a positive, adaptive learning climate.
