Your expertise will shape inclusive learning environments through CT (Consultant Teacher) and Resource classrooms, ensuring each students Individualized Education Plan (IEP) is thoughtfully developed and implemented.
Requirements and DesiredExperience:
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or related discipline (Masters preferred).
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
- Strong understanding of IDEA, Section 504, and ADA requirements.
- Demonstrated experience crafting and administering IEPs.
- Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills.
- Prior experience working with elementary-aged children is strongly preferred.
- Full-time hours, Monday through Friday schedule.
- Serve in both Consultant Teacher and Resource classroom settings.
- Create inclusive lesson plans and track student progress.
- Communicate regularly with families, administration, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Offer instructional and behavioral support tailored to student needs.
