Speech Pathologist, Health Educator
A school-based speech-language pathologist (SLP) position is available in Habersham, GA, serving students in grades K5 within ASD and Severe/Profound classrooms. This contract role offers the opportunity to work onsite, providing essential therapeutic support and contributing to students educational development.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver speech therapy services tailored to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and severe/profound disabilities.
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Conduct progress monitoring and maintain accurate documentation.
- Support Medicaid billing processes in compliance with guidelines.
- Active Georgia SLP licensure is required.
- Valid Georgia Educator Certificate is mandatory.
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience working in school-based settings.
- Experience serving students with ASD and severe/profound needs preferred.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work onsite for this position.
- Location:
Habersham, GA (on-site) - Duration: ASAP start through End of School Year and school year.
- Schedule:
Full-time, up to 37.5 hours per week with part-time consideration.
