Set up and operate hemodialysis machines and monitor patients during treatment;
Obtain pre- and post-treatment vital signs and weight, and perform vascular access evaluation;
Document treatment data and ensure nursing signatures on treatment sheets, and report changes to the RN or supervisor;
Maintain infection control practices and prepare/setup dialysis environment and equipment between treatments;
Assist in training of direct patient care staff and support transitions for patients new to dialysis or home dialysis options
