Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control Specialist in Eastanollee, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Pay Rate: $13.00 / Hour

  • Mon: 05:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Tue: 05:00 PM - 11:00 PM

  • Sat: 11:00 PM - 11:00 AM
What You'll Do
  • Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, and security-related policies at the location.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, vendors, and delivery traffic, document arrivals and departures, and help to deter unauthorized access to loading, shipping, receiving, and other restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate clearly with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observe for unusual activity or security-related concerns, and report findings according to post orders.
Minimum Requirements
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
