Accounting Manager

ITS has a client in the Toledo, OH area that is seeking an Accounting Manager.

A growing and well-established healthcare products manufacturer and distributor is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its finance team. This organization develops innovative products that support healthcare professionals and patient care across multiple markets nationwide.

The Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting functions, support monthly and annual financial reporting activities, and help ensure accurate financial operations across the organization. This role will partner closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to support business growth and operational excellence.

• Manage general accounting operations including general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting reports
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
• Maintain accuracy of inventory and distribution-related accounting processes
• Support audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting controls
• Monitor and improve accounting procedures and processes
• Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and leadership teams on financial initiatives
• Assist with ERP system maintenance and reporting improvements
• Support ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4 to 6+ years of accounting experience in a professional business environment
• Experience with in manufacturing, distribution, healthcare products, medical device, or related industries strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting
• Experience with inventory and distribution accounting preferred
• ERP system experience required
• Great Plains (Microsoft Dynamics GP) experience is a plus
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
