Business Office Coordinator

Job Location: Shoreline Post Acute Toledo, OH

About the Role:

As a Business Office Coordinator at our health care facility, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our post-acute care facility. As a key member of our business office team, you will be responsible for managing a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our facility, and providing exceptional patient care. If you are a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and financial data
  • Assist with billing, invoicing, and accounts receivable/payable functions
  • Coordinate with insurance companies and patients regarding insurance claims and billing issues
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Support the implementation of new policies and procedures as needed
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 0-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a business office or administration role
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
