Permit Coordinator

Erie Home, a national leader in premium residential roofing and exterior remodeling, is seeking a detail-oriented Permit Coordinator. In this role, you will manage permitting for roofing and exterior projects, including researching municipal requirements, preparing and submitting applications, tracking approvals, and maintaining accurate records. You'll work closely with sales, installation, and operations teams to ensure all jobs are compliant and scheduled on time.

The ideal candidate is organized, deadline-driven, comfortable working with city and county offices, and eager to grow in a fast-paced, performance-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Research local building and zoning requirements for roofing and exterior projects
• Prepare, submit, and track permit applications with municipalities and agencies
• Coordinate with sales, installation, and operations to gather required documents
• Maintain accurate digital and physical records of permits, inspections, and approvals
• Communicate with city/county offices to resolve issues or delays
• Monitor permit and inspection schedules to keep projects on track
• Update internal systems and stakeholders on permit status
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and HOA requirements
• Assist with reporting and documentation for audits or inspections
• Support continuous improvement of permitting processes and workflows
