General Description
As a Service Manager you will gain hands‑on experience in one of Goodyear's auto service centers by building relationships with guests while ensuring outstanding service delivery. You will manage the service department effectively by scheduling associates, organizing workflow, and maintaining guest satisfaction.
BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.61 – $32.70 per hour. Base pay may vary based on experience, knowledge, and location. Selected candidates may be eligible for medical, prescription, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, tuition assistance, sick and vacation time, and tire discounts.
Responsibilities- Schedule associates, service appointments, and organize workflow to deliver quality work on time.
- Drive and reach sales goals through guest interactions, including tire and service sales.
- Build guest relationships and ensure satisfaction by acting as liaison between technicians and guests.
- Contribute to the training and development of service department associates.
- Explain warranties, promotions, and advertisements effectively.
- Make recommendations to guests using manufacturing guidelines and available tools.
- Maintain a clean and safe work and guest area.
- Perform manual tasks such as light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting.
- Minimum 1 year of previous automotive service management experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- No relocation is offered for this position.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- Previous automotive service sales experience.
- Previous automotive service experience.
- Strong work ethic, independently motivated to produce results with limited influence from others.
- Hard worker who demonstrates responsibility, dependability, conscientiousness, communication, and teamwork.
- Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow procedures and guidelines.
- Availability to work when stores are open 7 days a week, including weekends and some holidays.
- Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures.
