Summer Bus Driver – Child Care Programs

The YMCA of Greater Toledo is an inclusive organization of men, women and children joined together by a shared commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting health living and fostering a sense of social responsibility.

• Will play a crucial role in transporting our School Ager to various locations around the greater Toledo area. Trips to camp, a field trip or swimming to name a few!
• Many times, our bus drivers join us on the field trip, as an extra set of hands with the school agers.
• May help give breaks, assist in organizing the group prior to the trip, or even small times in the classroom during transition times of the day.
• Build relationships with students in your program, and their families.
• Shift are typically flexible, and staff can expect between 15-30 hours per week depending on availability and schedule of trips.

• NO CDL required, we have mini buses that require a regular drivers license.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Clean driving record
• Enroll in CPR, First Aid, Child Abuse Prevention, and Prevention of Infectious Diseases. (Covered by the YMCA)
• Warm and friendly personality and the willingness to interact with the children.
• Meet DCY licensing qualifications in training and background check.
