Job Details

• Use Accu Bid (or similar platforms) to perform accurate material take-offs and labor estimates
• Review plans, specifications, and contract documents to ensure complete understanding of scope
• Develop bid packages for:
• New construction projects
• Renovations and tenant improvements
• Maintain detailed logs of RFIs and Change Orders and incorporate updates into estimates
• Prepare and submit required documentation, including RFIs and submittals, within deadlines
• Organize proposals and scopes of work in a clear and professional format
• Read and interpret construction documents and technical schematics accurately
• Ensure timely response and submission of bid materials and project documentation
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical estimating for commercial and industrial construction
• Strong proficiency with estimating software (Accu Bid or equivalent), digital take-off tools, and spreadsheets
• Field experience as an electrician is a plus but not required
• Ability to calculate material, labor, and equipment costs with a high level of accuracy
• Excellent communication skills for working with internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
