RADIO HOST; Part-Time

Overview

WGTE Public Media is seeking a part-time Radio Host (Classical Music) to host live and pre-recorded classical programming on FM 91. This role includes hosting weekday live broadcasts from 9:00–11:00 a.m., producing evergreen classical content, voicing underwriting and promotional spots, and supporting fund drives, special programming, and community events.

• Host weekday live broadcasts from 9:00–11:00 a.m.
• Produce evergreen classical content.
• Voice underwriting and promotional spots.
• Support fund drives, special programming, and community events.

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• Prior on-air radio experience and knowledge of public radio best practices preferred.
• Strong, professional on-air presence.
• Technical proficiency in radio studio operations and audio editing, including Music Master and Hindenburg Pro or similar systems.
• Genuine passion for classical music and public media.
