We are seeking a Full-Time Science Teacher for Whitmer High School. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching Science to high school students, be able to create engaging lesson plans and have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Create lesson plans and instructional materials
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Maintain accurate records of grades and attendance
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress
- Participate in school events and activities
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to improve student performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in education
- Teaching certification or eligibility for certification in the state of Ohio
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and instructional materials
- Knowledge of current teaching methods and best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
- Commitment to student success and academic excellence.
