The primary responsibility for this position is teaching undergraduate students in psychology courses.

Essential functions include:

• Develops syllabi, lesson plans, and conducts classes per schedule.
• Follows department guidelines and online standards when applicable.
• Uses technology and classroom‑management techniques.
• Communicates effectively via the college CMS, email, and other required systems.
• Creates and evaluates assignments, maintains accurate records, and reports grades.
• Participates in department workshops, meetings, and student assessments.
• Supports the college’s mission, vision, and core values.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge in psychology and integration of learning styles.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Problem solving and critical thinking.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Blackboard, Owens email, and other required programs.
• Ability to integrate diverse methodologies, manage classroom, and assess student performance.
• Recognize strengths and weaknesses to give constructive feedback.
• Fair evaluation using departmental guidelines.

Minimum Education /

Experience:

• Master’s degree in Psychology or a closely related field with at least 18 credit hours of graduate‑level coursework in Psychology.
