ELA-Whitmer Middle School

Summary:

We are seeking a Full-Time ELA Teacher for Whitmer Middle School. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching ELA to students, be able to create engaging lesson plans, and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Teach ELA to middle school students
- Create lesson plans and instructional materials
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Maintain accurate records of grades and attendance
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress
- Participate in school events and activities
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to improve student performance

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in ELA or a related field
- Teaching certification or eligibility for certification in the state of Ohio
- Experience teaching ELA to middle school students preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and instructional materials
- Knowledge of current teaching methods and best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
