Regional School Counselor 2026-27 School Year Job Description
Summary:
The School Counselor works with all members of the school community including students, instructional staff, and administration to deliver a program to support a student’s academic career and personal development. Provides guidance and counseling students aligned to the academic program including the Moral Focus curriculum.
You will be supporting the following schools:

Provide group and individual counseling sessions and classroom support to general education students, and special education students, as well as monitor the students’ responses to the interventions identified.
Deliver crisis response and intervention services to students, families and staff, when needed.
Serve in a consultative role with designated personnel to offer prevention and intervention strategies related to learning and behavioral problems of students; and provide consultation on an on‑going basis to teachers, parents, and other school personnel to resolve students’ learning and behavioral problems.
Assist in identifying needed community resources for students and makes appropriate referrals to resources to facilitate educational and behavioral interventions recommended for student success.
Establish relationships with both students and parents and participating in all aspects of school planning including supporting students in identifying target high schools and completing.
Qualifications- Must hold a valid school counselor license issued in the state you are applying.
