The University of Toledo is hiring a Program Manager Applied Learning to oversee the undergraduate research office and manage the competitive awards process. The role involves organizing internal research funding programs, promoting national and international award opportunities, and mentoring students and faculty through application procedures.
Responsibilities- Manage undergraduate research office and competitive awards process
- Organize and support internal undergraduate research funding programs
- Promote national and international competitive award opportunities
- Mentor and assist students and faculty during application processes
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Access
- Salary commensurate with experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of three years’ experience in research and higher education
- Experience with research proposals, public speaking, event planning, and faculty interaction
- Strong communication, writing, editorial, and organizational skills
