The Assistant Dean provides senior leadership for the Health Science Campus and the University as a whole across a broad spectrum of responsibilities.

• Academic Advisor for approximately 700 medical students.
• Career Counseling and Advising, including medical specialty decision‑making, curriculum vitae and personal statement guidance and review, program selection, and interviewing skills.
• Medical Student Performance Evaluations for senior medical students.
• Orientation for incoming medical students.
• Co‑Advisor, Gold Humanism Honor Society.
• Co‑Advisor, Alpha Omega Alpha.
• Medical Student Awards Committee.
• Graduation Committee.
• Summer Internship/Preceptorship Programs.

• M.D./D.O. or Ph.D. degree required.
• Recent higher education administrative experience working with students.
• Knowledge of higher education and its practices and procedures.
