Long Term Substitute Teacher- High School ELA

Job Title

Teach a balanced load of educational lessons as assigned by the Upper School Principal. This position will focus on the educational lessons of ELA and Literature.

Teach regularly scheduled classes as assigned on the master schedule. Be informed as to the academic, spiritual, and social development of each of their students. Employ those instructional aids, methods, and materials that will provide for creative and effective teaching including the consistent and effective use of technology. Ensure that adequate preparations have been made to accomplish objectives and meet the standards established for the classes assigned.

Demonstrate strong classroom management that fosters a learning environment for all students and adheres to the school's policies and procedures. Follow the school's protocol for classroom discipline. Speak favorably of and publicly support the school, faculty, and school leadership. Carry out other duties as assigned by the school's administration.

Have a HS diploma, BS or BA preferred. Demonstrate evidence of personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Adhere to the mission statement, core values, Code of Conduct, and Statement of Faith of Emmanuel Christian School.
