Compliance Inspector

In this role you will conduct visual inspections of petroleum storage tank systems and related facilities across all weather conditions, adhere to state UST and AST regulations, analyze documentation, collect and analyze data, and maintain compliance standards. Extensive driving, travel, and overnight stays are required.

• Follow a company-provided route, requiring extensive driving.
• Conduct visual inspections of clients’ petroleum storage tank systems and related facilities – performed outdoors in all weather.
• Review required documents to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop expertise in state UST and AST regulations, adhering to Federal EPA guidelines.
• Collect and organize data using designated software platforms.
• Adhere to all safety and security procedures.
• Respond promptly to customer needs and gather feedback to enhance service.
• Address service and assistance requests.
• Maintain accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
• Report any potentially unsafe conditions.
• Operate equipment and utilize materials safely and effectively.

This position requires extensive driving in all types of weather. Travel, including overnight stays, is a requirement. You may be away from home for more than five days at a time.

• You will frequently lift and move 50-100 pounds.
• You will be required to use your hands to touch, reach, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, smell, and hear.

• Experience using Apple/MAC devices, iOS operating system, and Google suite.
• Valid driver’s license and driving history that allows insurability.
• A willingness and ability to work outdoors in all reasonable weather conditions.
• A willingness and ability to travel and be away from home.
• Determination to uphold integrity at all times.

This is an entry-level compliance inspector role; no prior experience required. We provide training and help obtain multiple state certifications (A/B Operator) within 30-90 days. Company vehicle, iPad, tools, and reimbursement for business expenses are provided. 1-6 months of related experience is a plus.
