Fishbeck has a full-time opening for a Mechanical Engineer in our Maumee, OH, Cincinnati OH, or Farmington Hills, MI office. This opportunity involves a wide variety of projects across the industrial, municipal, healthcare, commercial, and higher education markets. The successful candidate will perform multiple aspects of mechanical engineering assignments, including HVAC and plumbing system design calculations and the development of construction drawings and specifications.
This role includes coordination with multidisciplinary teams, field investigations, and construction phase engineering support.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Architectural/Engineering (A/E) consulting business.
- PE license or working toward licensure.
- Proficiency with Revit mechanical software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently and collaboratively.

Physical Requirements
Normal office working conditions with computer use. Ability to travel to and maneuver around project sites to attend client and project meetings and to access sites for observation, investigation, and evaluation. Ability to use various technical equipment for communication and documentation. Visual acuity required. Occasionally exposed to light lifting, sitting, and walking.
