HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Senior Information Assurance Technical Expert (Platform IA
- Cloud) to support the Strike Systems Program Office at Wright‑Patterson AFB, Ohio. The role involves applying engineering principles, criteria, and procedures for Air Force systems, subsystems, and equipment procurement activities; post‑award project/program management; and acquisition program lifecycle management in accordance with DoD 5000.02 policies.

• Evaluation of system security and information assurance requirements consistent with ICD 503, CNSS Instruction 1253, DoDI 8510.01, and NIST 800-53.
• Develop system security and information assurance documentation to support system certification, accreditation, interim authority, and authority to operate decisions.
• Assist with execution of the USAF Airworthiness process per MIL‑HDBK‑516 and the AF Life‑Cycle Systems Engineering (LCSE) and Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness (OSS&E) processes as prescribed by AFMCI 63‑1201.
• Gather and develop technical and business data necessary to build and present program briefs.
• Analyze equipment and software performance deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Support the following:
  • Development and review of the full range of documentation and products required by DoDI 5000.02.
  • Implementation of Air Force Integrity Programs.
  • Requirements development, allocation, and verification.
  • Review and evaluation of weapon system design, analyses, and verification documentation and reports.
  • Program meetings, working groups, and technical and business reviews as needed.
  • Development of contract and documentation changes and updates.
  • Source selections in a technical advisory role as requested.

• 9 years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s in a related field; 7 years with a Master’s; 4 years with a PhD or Juris Doctorate; or 13 years with a High School Diploma – and a technical bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• At least six (6) years of relevant DoD IA experience.
• Three (3) of those years must be within a recognized ACAT I (or equivalent) program and one (1) year on a Special Access Program.
• Must hold a DoD 8570 IAM Level II Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent.
• Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or equivalent certification.
• Experience evaluating CSP agreements for alignment with customer business and mission objectives.
• Cloud experience in designing, applying, and configuring CSP computing service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and deployment models (Private, Hybrid, Community), infrastructure‑as‑code, and security control selection and testing for cloud implementations.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.

• Specific experience in DoD IA, ACAT I, and one year of SAP experience.
