BIM Designer

Role Overview

Arcadis is looking for a Staff BIM Designer to join the Water Team in Toledo, OH. The position requires a minimum of 7 years experience in CAD/BIM and will focus on developing engineering drawings, models, and designs from instructions and sketches.

• Update and create drawings for site development, grading, utility piping layouts, process mechanical plans, and construction details using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Produce floor plans, elevations, section cuts, and schedules in AutoCAD and Revit; maintain site record drawings and ensure alignment with discipline‑specific and company CAD/BIM standards.
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Manage workload throughout the project lifecycle, coordinating with local engineers and remote teams to ensure timely delivery.

• Strong knowledge of CAD and BIM standards, including facility MEP system drawings, asset hierarchies, and associated O&M documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative team focus.

• Associate's Degree in Architecture, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years experience in CAD/BIM, proficiency in AutoCAD 2016 or newer and Revit.
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

• Background in architecture, construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Experience working with remote teams.

Range: $68,000 – $102,000 (actual varies by experience, education, and other factors).
