Job SummaryAs the Stationary Steam Engineer, you will be in direct charge of all steam boilers, steam turbines and auxiliary equipment. You will maintain continuous operating of steam generating equipment including repairs, preventive maintenance and preparing for annual inspections. You will maintain all steam turbine drive pumps and electric drive pumps and associated equipment including repairs and preventive maintenance. The above summary of accountabilities is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed in this role.

- High School diploma or equivalent
- Thorough knowledge of steam and water piping systems with competency to make repairs
- Basic knowledge of electrical troubleshooting techniques and a working knowledge of electricity
- Thorough knowledge of boiler water chemistry and cooling tower water chemistry; capable of performing competent water analysis on the systems
- Thorough knowledge of fire extinguishing methods and capable of executing these methods in the event of a fire
- 4 years in the operation and maintenance of steam boilers, steam turbines, water chillers and associated auxiliary equipment
- Current State of Ohio Stationary Steam Engineer License (minimum 3rd class license)
- Previous First Aid experience
- CPR
