Manufacturing Engineer
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes that support safe, efficient, and cost-effective production. This role will drive continuous improvement initiatives, support new product launches, optimize tooling and equipment, and provide hands-on engineering support to production operations.
Responsibilities- Develop and improve manufacturing processes, work instructions, and production workflows.
- Design, implement, and validate tooling, fixtures, gauges, and production equipment.
- Lead continuous improvement projects focused on reducing scrap, downtime, cycle times, and production costs.
- Support new product launches through process development, validation, and quality planning activities.
- Analyze production data, process capability, and throughput to identify improvement opportunities.
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting and engineering support for production, tooling, and equipment issues.
- Lead equipment selection, installation, commissioning, and process qualification activities.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Tooling teams to improve product quality and process performance.
- Maintain engineering documentation, including routings, process specifications, drawings, and BOMs.
- Support automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience supporting manufacturing operations, process improvement, and new product launches.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, root cause analysis, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, control plans, and process validation is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, project management, and communication skills.
This is an onsite role.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Toledo, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $57.69 - $62.50/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
