The Flex Fund Administrator is a key member of the OhioRISE team, working closely with internal teams to ensure timely, compliant, and member-centered use of flex funds and requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort with administrative and bookkeeping responsibilities. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, clinical judgment, and the ability to collaborate across systems.
Responsibilities- Process and fulfill approved flex fund purchase requests accurately and in compliance with program requirements.
- Purchase and document goods and services for OhioRISE members and track fund usage.
- Coordinate with vendors to support timely purchasing and billing.
- Maintain accurate financial records and support reconciliation with finance teams.
- Use EHR and financial systems to document and report flex fund activity.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field OR at least 3 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping, purchasing, or financial operations.
- Experience with budgeting, financial tracking, or organizational accounting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines.
- Proficiency with computer systems and common software, including Excel and Word; experience with financial or billing systems preferred.
- Knowledge of procurement, vendor coordination, or internal financial controls.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and effective written and verbal communication.
- Ability to obtain CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
