Summary
Assist the Private Banking Officers to develop new VIP client relationships and handle day-to-day maintenance needs of current clients. This includes first point of contact for day-to-day customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provide support for the Toledo Private Banking teams to enable account officers to focus on continued growth of the Toledo market.
- Work closely with Private Banking Team to allow Private Bankers to develop/market new VIP lending & deposit opportunities in the Ohio markets.
- Assist Private Banking Officers to ensure exceptional customer service and VIP experience.
- Help facilitate account funds transfers, line advances, loan payments, wire transfers, etc.
- Check DDA overdraft reports daily and notify the officer of any overdraft; review loan delinquency reports and quarterly loan review and matured note reports.
- Open new VIP accounts and assist with the onboarding of new relationships; update client files as necessary to ensure that the information is up-to-date.
- Assist Private Banking Officers in monitoring the loan portfolio and in retrieving required customer financial information.
- Develop a working knowledge of all private banking relationships to have the ability to serve as a Private Banker in the absence of the primary account officer.
- Comply with all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma;
Business degree preferred. - Minimum of 5 years banking experience preferred.
- Strong technical skills, including a basic understanding of accounting and financial statements.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook.
- A strong sales ability, strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks are required.
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere and to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels.
