Prepares loan documentation according to Bank’s policies; assists in booking and disbursement of loans.

Responsibilities- Prepare commercial loan documents in compliance with Bank’s policies and loan approvals.
- Prepare loan documentation checklists and assign loan coding information on Bank’s loan tracking program (Versigo).
- Work with commercial loan officers and their administrative support teams to facilitate loan closings.
- Obtain and/or review necessary information for commercial loan closings, including but not limited to operating agreements, trust agreements, corporate good standings, UCC searches, mortgage title insurance, and flood zone verifications.
- Perform pre-closing loan reviews to confirm loan coding, document accuracy and identify missing or incorrect documents.
- Book new commercial loans.

This job operates in an office setting. This position uses standard office equipment such as computers, photocopiers, scanners, and PDF apps daily.
Physical DemandsMost of this position’s responsibilities and duties are performed sitting or standing at a workstation. Some filing duties are required for this position. The ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, bend or stand on a stool, as well as loading and carrying boxes is a necessary ability. This position may be required to lift up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This position is classified as non-exempt by the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Typical hours will be Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Additional hours may be required.
Required Education & Experience- Demonstrated knowledge/experience in loan documentation practices and procedures or strong loan administrative assistant experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Word and Excel). Candidates may be asked to provide sample work.
