Summary/Objective

Responsible for commercial business development and portfolio management for new and existing clients.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Manages and/or coordinates the sales and financial analysis process for commercial loans.
a. Sales process consists of focusing on profitable opportunities, maintaining an extensive network of contacts, and building relationships with key influencers to drive profitable business.
b. Financial analysis process consists of gathering facts, ideas and opinions needed for analyzing situations, solving problems and making decisions, asking questions to improve understanding and preparing analyses of personal financial statements and tax returns.

2. Exercise prudent judgment in making lending decisions and recommendations to assist the Bank in meeting its strategic objectives.

3. Ensures maintenance of consistent file management, documentation and loan administration process. Manage portfolios in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.

4. Identifies needs of existing clients and recommends solutions based upon bank’s credit policy and proper loan structuring, including providing necessary supporting information for credits to be underwritten.

This position operates in both an office and field-based environment. While performing the duties of this role, the employee regularly uses standard office equipment, including computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, and filing systems. The role also requires regular travel to client locations, industry events, and other business-related meetings, with work performed in a variety of professional settings outside the office.

Physical Demands

This position is primarily performed in a field-based sales environment and requires frequent travel to client and prospect locations. Responsibilities are carried out while sitting, standing, walking, driving, and occasionally climbing stairs. The position may require lifting and carrying materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
