- Recognize when legal, tax, compliance, committee, executive, investment, or fiduciary specialist review is required and coordinate that review effectively.
- Provide senior-level planning and investment judgment where authorized, including portfolio construction review, risk assessment, cash-flow needs, concentrated positions, liquidity issues, tax considerations, and implementation tradeoffs.
- Exercise higher delegated authority where approved by bank policy and applicable governance processes.
- Originate, lead, and convert significant new relationships consistent with Croghan’s fiduciary capabilities, client-service capacity, planning strengths, and target market.
- Develop durable referral relationships with attorneys, CPAs, business advisors, commercial bankers, community leaders, and other centers of influence.
- Represent Croghan through professional, community, educational, and client-facing activities that build credibility and create new relationship opportunities.
- Mentor Wealth Advisors, Associate Wealth Advisors, and other client-facing or support professionals through case consultation, meeting preparation, debriefing, technical coaching, documentation standards, and client communication guidance.
- Contribute to standards for client reviews, planning quality, relationship segmentation, documentation, fiduciary escalation, client communication, business development, and professional development.
