Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• On-call requirement included with shift
• 13-week assignment with ASAP start date preferred
• Local candidates accepted at same rate

• Mandatory operating room nursing experience required in cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, and hybrid vascular surgery
• Perform scrub duties during surgical procedures under direct supervision of physician and circulating registered nurse
• Demonstrate clinical competency and accountability in caring for patients across all age groups: infants, children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and dying patients
• Provide specialized care for bariatric, pediatric, and MRDD patient populations
• Exercise critical thinking skills in clinical situations
• Perform procedures consistent with approved nursing practices and demonstrate proper use of equipment/devices
• Administer medications appropriately while maintaining awareness of effects
• Implement current medical regimen with focus on patient safety
• Complete hospital required and unit-specific competency requirements
