Medical Assistant​/Family Practice – Perrysburg OH

Toledo Clinic’s Family Practice office, located in Perrysburg Ohio, is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to provide both clinical and administrative support. Qualified candidates will have a MA credential (RMA/CMA/CCMA) or be able to obtain such credential within 60 days of employment. Toledo Clinic is offering a $2,000 Sign-On Bonus to qualified Medical Assistants. If qualified, sign on bonuses are payable within 30 days of hire to employees that have active and verified credentials (ex: RMA/CMA/CCMA/CPCT-A).

For employees that have not yet obtained or renewed their credential, the Sign-On Bonus is payable once the credential is obtained and verified. After one year of service, qualified Medical Assistants may be eligible for an additional $2,000 Retention Bonus.

Assist physician(s) with patient treatment, prepares patient for physician(s), and performs various clerical duties. Works under the supervision of the Office Manager.

Required:

• Excellent interpersonal skills required.
• Consistently arrives at work, in professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame.
• Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed.
• Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles.
• Credentialed as a Medical Assistant (i.e.: CMA or RMA)

• Medical Assisting degree or diploma from an accredited school required.
• Clinical medical assisting experience preferred.
