Position Summary:
The Home Care Staffing Coordinator plays a vital role in the daily operations of Wise Home Care by coordinating caregiver schedules, supporting recruiting efforts, and maintaining an organized office environment. This position requires strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily schedules for caregivers and nurses to ensure consistent client coverage
- Communicate schedule changes with clients, caregivers, case managers, family members, and nurses
- Ensure assigned caregivers align with client service plans
- Respond to call-offs, cancellations, and urgent staffing needs, including occasional after-hours or weekend support
- Assist with recruiting and onboarding: review applications, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and track training
- Maintain accurate and compliant client + employee records
- Monitor EVV systems/Telephony to ensure visit timeliness and accuracy
- Complete conflict/resolution logs and ensure appropriate follow-up
- Provide administrative support: phones, filing, printing, payroll documentation
- Collaborate/report to the Area Coordinator and Clinical team to ensure care continuity
- Attend job fairs or marketing events as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year experience in home care, healthcare staffing, scheduling, or similar role
- Strong verbal + written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and problem-solve
- Proficiency with computer systems and data entry
- Experience in home care, healthcare administration, or staffing coordination
- Knowledge of EVV systems
- Familiarity with Medicaid waiver programs or home- and community-based services
- Prior recruiting experience
- Standard:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM - Occasional after-hours or weekend support required based on staffing needs
