Client's Description SummarySummary of client’s description of this opportunity.
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments of individual's mental health and substance use needs, including physical health assessments (PHR).
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, often in collaboration with a psychiatric prescriber or physician.
- Administer medications prescribed by MCMHA prescriber/psychiatrist, monitor patient responses, and document any adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and their families about medications, treatment plans, and coping strategies.
- Provide immediate support and intervention during mental health crises.
- RN in the state of MI and education equivalent to a four-year degree preferred.
- One (1) year of work experience with adults and children with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities.
- Computer skills required.
- Experience in treatment of individuals with mental illness and persons with developmental disabilities required.
- Experience with multidisciplinary treatment teams required.
- Establish a relationship with one of the nation's largest referral agencies for behavioral‑health.
- Compensation processed weekly.
