Job SummaryAs a Mental Health Professional, you will assist patients in meeting their basic needs under nursing supervision. You are responsible for physical observations, direct patient care and collaborating while implementing care plans.
You will need to recognize and respect the patient s beliefs, culture, socio-economic status. You will provide patients support through therapeutic interpersonal skills, education and psycho educational groups.
The implementation of care plans will be delegated by the RN and you will participate in role development activities.

Responsibilities- Assist with basic patient needs under nursing supervision, including physical observations and direct patient care.
- Collaborate with care teams to implement and participate in care plans.
- Provide therapeutic interpersonal support, education, and psycho educational groups.
- Recognize and respect patient beliefs, culture, and socio-economic status.
- Participate in role development activities as delegated by the RN.
- Education:
Must have an associate degree in Mental Health technology and/or a bachelor s degree in a related field. - Preferred:
Bachelor s degree in a related field. - Preferred:
Recent experience in psychiatry. - Preferred:
Individual, family and group therapy training and experience.
