General Function
Manages all issues associated with effective and efficient operation related to project management in the office of the CEO. Promotes the NHA corporate image by representing the CEO to key stakeholders both internal and external.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the development and initial implementation of new programs and project initiatives.
- Management of a wide variety of specialized projects as determined appropriate by the CEO. Completes these assignments by establishing objectives, determining priorities, managing time, gaining cooperation of others, monitoring progress, problem solving and making adjustments to plans.
- Establishes cooperative relationships with project managers and project team members to clearly understand project scope and requirements; participates in all planning meetings and records minutes.
- Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes, implementing changes.
- Performs job setup administrative duties to accurately create and document projects and project progress; ensures all documents are properly filed.
- Enhances Corporation’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Works with the Board of Directors in the management of Board issues and committees as required.
- Participation in various committees, attend various meetings sometimes in the place of the CEO.
- Bachelor’s degree in business required;
Master’s degree preferred. - Must have demonstrated experience in past performance of project management duties.
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional writing, problem solving and personal communication skills essential.
- Strong leadership and planning skills required.
- Must be task-oriented, strong oral skills and must be comfortable with public speaking.
- Discretion, a high level of professionalism, strong attention to detail, the ability to effectively multi-task is essential.
- Demonstrated competence in travel logistics, scheduling, informing others, presentation skills, self-confidence, meeting management, client relationships and promoting process improvement
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in Public Health, Community Health Center, Clinic, or Hospital management necessary.
