Are you a compassionate, reliable person who wants to make a real impact? The Epilepsy Center of Northwest Ohio is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our mission driven team. You’ll help individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities live full, empowered, and independent lives at home and in the community.
Pay$17.00 per hour, (sleep shifts $13.00 per hour)
Locations:
Lucas and Wood County
Available Schedules:
Part-Time 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts (sleep & awake)
- Provide respectful, person-centered support in daily living tasks
- Assist with personal care: ambulation, bathing, grooming, toileting, etc.
- Engage individuals in social, recreational, and community activities
- Prepare meals, cleaning, laundry, and household tasks
- Transport individuals safely to appointments or social outings
- Encourage personal growth and achievement of goals
- Accurately document activities, incidents, and client progress
- Communicate professionally with team members, families, and clients
- Participate in required paid training and team meetings
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (fewer than 6 points)
- Proof of auto insurance
- Ability to pass BCI/FBI background checks and required screenings
