In the demanding, high-functioning clinical position of Certified Retina Technician, you will directly support the physician in all aspects of the practice.

You will review patient charts prior to exams to anticipate procedures, supplies and/or equipment needed, and ensure patient exam communications are sent.

In this role, you will administer drops and in-office medications as instructed by the physician and show your expertise and understanding of conditions that threaten vision.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• COA certification through JCAHPO
• Basic knowledge of insurance and prior authorizations
• 1 year ophthalmology experience
• BLS

• Experience with Epic and Zeiss Forum
• In depth knowledge of insurance and prior authorizations for retinal treatments
• Previous clinical experience in a retina practice
• 3 years retinal experience
• COT or COMT certification through JCAHPO
