Job DescriptionThis role provides Institute-wide coordination and operational planning for the Institute of American Constitutional Thought and Leadership. It supports senior leadership by coordinating timelines, information flow, and planning across the Institute’s academic, research, grant‑funded, and public‑facing activities, and by providing logistical input and recommendations that inform leadership decision‑making.
The role emphasizes coordination, planning, communication, and logistical advising. It works collaboratively with Institute leadership, faculty, and staff to ensure that complex, multi‑stream initiatives are aligned and operationally feasible, that responsibilities are clearly communicated, and that senior leadership has timely information and operational recommendations necessary for effective decision‑making.
This position operates in support of the Institute’s mission as defined by Ohio Revised Code Sec. 3364.07 and contributes to the effective execution of Institute activities. The position does not exercise line authority over professional staff, faculty, budgets, or academic programs, but may include supervisory responsibility for student employees as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in coordination, planning, project support, or administrative operations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple timelines and priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders in a professional environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
- Master’s degree.
- Experience in higher education or research, academic, or grant‑funded environment.
- Experience supporting senior leadership or coordinating cross‑functional initiatives.
- Familiarity with grant‑funded programs or academic operations.
