Radiologic Tech - Outpatient

General Summary

Performs radiology procedures as ordered by physician.

• Prepare and position patient for procedure using established protocols to achieve the highest quality image.
• Perform routine radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures using fixed and portable imaging equipment.
• Monitor equipment.
• Request supplies.
• Answer phones.
• Minimum typing.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Registered through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with at least 1 year experience.
• State licensure required.
• Consistently arrives at work, in professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame.
• Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed.
• Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles.
• Demonstrates and applies knowledge of principles of radiation safety.
• Ability to work well with others and independently.
• Provides excellent patient care while utilizing critical thinking skills.
• Adheres to clinic’s policies and procedures.

• Successful completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program.
