Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current or eligible for state SLP licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience with pediatrics or school-based populations
  • Experience working with AAC devices strongly preferred
  • Eagerness to work in self-contained special education settings

Responsibilities:

  • Provide evaluation and therapy services to K-7 students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and teachers
  • Utilize AAC devices and support technology for communication
  • Maintain accurate records for each student
  • Receive supervision and mentorship, if applicable
