We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) to provide clinical leadership and respiratory care support across multiple skilled nursing facilities. This position focuses on enhancing pulmonary care programs, improving clinical outcomes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting facility staff through education, mentorship, and quality improvement initiatives.
This opportunity is ideal for both experienced respiratory therapists and newly licensed graduates who are passionate about delivering high-quality pulmonary care in the post-acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory therapy services and clinical leadership across multiple skilled nursing facilities
- Conduct respiratory therapy audits, including documentation, compliance, and clinical workflow reviews
- Develop, implement, and enhance pulmonary care programs and quality initiatives
- Monitor quality metrics including hospitalizations, resident outcomes, ADLs, and pulmonary program performance
- Train, mentor, and support Pulmonary Program Coordinators (PPCs)
- Conduct orientation and onboarding for newly hired pulmonary program staff
- Lead weekly meetings to review program performance, compliance, and quality goals
- Maintain accurate pulmonary dashboards, PDPM documentation, and program data
- Collaborate with facility leadership and regional operations teams
- Support CMS compliance, regulatory standards, and continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required
- Active Ohio Respiratory Therapist license required
- New graduates with an active Ohio license are welcome to apply
- 3-5+ years of respiratory therapy experience
- Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or post-acute care
- Knowledge of pulmonary rehabilitation, respiratory modalities, PDPM, and quality improvement initiatives
- Leadership, staff education, program management, or clinical auditing experience is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
