The role involves performing non-invasive cardiac diagnostic tests, including M-mode echocardiograms, 2D and 3D sector scans, Doppler, Colorflow imaging, and ejection fraction measurements on pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients. The sonographer assists physicians with transesophageal echocardiograms and conducts stress exercise echocardiograms in collaboration with stress laboratory personnel. Responsibilities include maintaining digital systems and supporting various cardiac assessments.
Qualifications- Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field
- Registration in Adult Echocardiography through ARDMS or within six months of hire
- Proficiency in computer systems
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA
- Preferred experience in non-invasive cardiology
- Strong technical and patient care skills
- Ability to support diagnostic procedures and collaborate with medical staff
- Commitment to maintaining digital and medical documentation
