Siffrin is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Residential Team Lead to support adults with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) ready to take the next step into leadership while continuing to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

As a Residential Team Lead, you will coach and support DSP staff, ensure high-quality person-centered services, maintain a safe and welcoming home environment, and help individuals achieve their goals with dignity and respect.

What You'll DoTeam Leadership Supervise and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
Provide hands-on coaching, mentoring, and training

Assist with onboarding and skill development of new staff

Promote teamwork, accountability, and professional growth

Communicate agency updates and ensure staff have the resources needed for success

Residential Operations Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment

Conduct regular audits of documentation, medication records, and financial records

Ensure compliance with agency policies, DODD requirements, and state regulations

Monitor household operations and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly

Support individuals in achieving their person-centered goals

Quality and Compliance Ensure accurate completion of daily logs, incident reports, medication documentation, and other records

Help maintain readiness for internal reviews and state inspections

Promote best practices in person-centered care and service delivery

Collaboration

Build positive relationships with individuals served, families, guardians, and community partners

Work closely with nurses, behavior specialists, and program leadership

Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and on-call responsibilities as assigned

Required

High school diploma or GED Minimum 2 years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities

Experience mentoring, training, or leading others

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Basic computer and documentation skills

Valid driver's license consistent with DODD rules and reliable transportation

Ability to pass required background checks

Ability to obtain all Medication Administration, CPR, and First Aid certifications if not currently certified

Preferred

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field

Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems

Training in Positive Behavior Support, Crisis Prevention Intervention, or related areas

Previous leadership experience in residential services, healthcare, disability services, or direct support

Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to assist with transfers, mobility supports, personal care, and daily living activities

Ability to operate a vehicle in all weather conditions

Comfortable working in residential, community, and transportation environments
