Must-Have:
- Epic charting experience
- Experience in catheter/drain exchange
- Central Venous Access (non-Tunneled/PICC lines)
- Chest Tube Placement
- Embolization procedures
- Experience with TIPS (Transjugular Intrahepatic Porto systemic Shunt) and central venous access/port placement
- Ability to maintain a sterile field and follow infection control protocols
Description:
Schedule is Monday to Friday. Call is required for 1 week day call and Q4W Friday from 16:00 to Monday 07:00. Average daily census is 25 patients. There are 3 rooms and 8 beds in the unit. Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Experience with equipment maintenance and operation is necessary. Required procedures include chest tube placement, IVC filter placement and removal, stent placement, thoracentesis, catheter/drain exchange, and embolization.
Isolation precautions and proper utilization of code teams are necessary for this role. Candidates must comply with required vaccinations for COVID-19 and flu. Floating to other units may be expected based on facility needs. Candidates must have references from recent experience. Travel experience is preferred but not required. This position accepts first-time travelers.
