Respiratory Care Assistant

• Assemble, operate, and troubleshoot therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory equipment
• Assist with clinical instruction
• Teach patients about disease‑specific processes
• Teach patients about tobacco cessation
• Educate patients about respiratory care services provided
• Provide care support for Pro Medica patients with respiratory conditions

• Must be enrolled and in good standing in, or a recent graduate of, an accredited respiratory therapy program
• Ohio facilities: must have a current Limited Permit License to render respiratory care services by the Ohio Respiratory Care Board in Ohio
• Current BLS
• Preferred:
  Membership in the American Association of Respiratory Care

Demonstrates expertise in assembling, operating, and troubleshooting respiratory equipment while providing patient education on respiratory care and disease management. Holds necessary certifications and licenses to deliver respiratory care services effectively.
