Travel Cath Lab​/EP Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist requiring 2+ years experience in a STEMI/PCI facility and current ARRT certification in hand.

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a STEMI/PCI facility required
• ARRT certification required in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ODH license required (license required if applicable)
• Must be STEMI ready
• IABP and Impella training required
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with IV starts and EKGs required
• Experience with stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, and thoracentesis required
• Experience with vascular studies, carotid stenting, and upper/lower extremity angiography preferred
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, left/right heart catheterization, and PCI

• Work in a busy cardiac cath lab with 7 procedure rooms
• Average daily census of 25-30 patients
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• One week day call per week plus every 5th weekend call
• Call coverage includes two weekends per contract (Friday 6pm-Monday 7am) plus one night each week
• One holiday call required if contract spans a holiday period
• May float to EP lab as needed when Cath Lab/IR case volume is low
• Uses Epic EMR
• Outpatient and inpatient work setting experience utilized
