What

you’ll do at DBH
  • Conduct vocational screenings, interviews, and assessments.
  • Develop individualized vocational plans and teach transferable job skills, including preparing clientsto seek employment after discharge.
  • Coordinate and monitor client participation in Northwest Ohio Behavioral Healthcare Vocational Services “Work Program.”
  • Document client progress and write routine progress notes.
  • Support therapeutic activities and maintain attendance records.
  • Escort clients to on‑and off‑unit programs as needed.
  • Serve on hospital committees and perform miscellaneous duties to support an integrated psychosocial rehabilitation approach.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

This is an hourly position covered by the Ohio Health Care SEIU/1199 bargaining unit (union), with a pay range of 10 on the Ohio Health Care SEIU/1199

Pay Range Schedule. Normal working hours are 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. This position is located withinour Northwest Ohio Behavioral Healthcare location, located at 930 South Detroit Avenue, Toledo, OH 43614.

Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.
